About Me

My photo
I'm a reader who enjoys posting comments and recommendations about the books I read. You will not find a synopsis with my recommendations because you can just click on the book title for a link to www.goodreads.com for a synopsis and reviews by other readers. I prefer the 3 Reason format: the reason I chose to read it; the reason I liked (or disliked) the book; and the reason I recommend it.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book has been in my home library since 1987 as part of a subscription series by Time-Life Books about the Civil War.
This book is well-written because it gives a sense of strong emotions to facts that many of us have memorized and remembered for years.
I recommend this book to all readers.

Lady BlueLady Blue by Helen Rich
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This ebook was free when I downloaded it from Barnes and Noble to my Nook library in 2012.
It is a historical romance with some suspense. I found it enjoyable and entertaining.
I recommend it to only readers who prefer this genre, even when you have to think sarcastically, "Oh yeah, that would happen,"
