I'm a reader who enjoys posting comments and recommendations about the books I read. You will not find a synopsis with my recommendations because you can just click on the book title for a link to www.goodreads.com for a synopsis and reviews by other readers. I prefer the 3 Reason format: the reason I chose to read it; the reason I liked (or disliked) the book; and the reason I recommend it.

The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and BusinessThe Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I chose this ebook because I have an amateur's interest in neuroscience and I enjoy well-written books for the general public where the scientific studies may be of help.
Habits are made of three parts: cue, routine, and reward. "...habits, as much as memory and reason, are at the root of how we behave. We might not remember the experiences that create our habits, but once they are lodged within our brains, they influence how we act--often without our realization."
"To change a habit, keep the old cue, and deliver the old reward, but insert a new routine." I look forward to changing, by experimentation, routines which no longer serve me.
I recommend this book to all readers!
