I'm a reader who enjoys posting comments and recommendations about the books I read. You will not find a synopsis with my recommendations because you can just click on the book title for a link to www.goodreads.com for a synopsis and reviews by other readers. I prefer the 3 Reason format: the reason I chose to read it; the reason I liked (or disliked) the book; and the reason I recommend it.

In the Company of Women: Inspiration and Advice from over 100 Makers, Artists, and EntrepreneursIn the Company of Women: Inspiration and Advice from over 100 Makers, Artists, and Entrepreneurs by Grace Bonney
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

This Kindle edition was free from IHG rewards in 2017.
I was disappointed in this book, as other reviewers mentioned, it was as if these creative women were asked the same or similar questions and the author stopped when she finished that phase of her research. The book was not polished enough to make it a better read. I liked the quote from Elise Kormack and Anna Hieronimus, "Don't let go of your goals, but let go of your expectations."

Grave DangerGrave Danger by Heather Graham
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I downloaded this promotional ebook for free from Barnes and Noble in 2012. It promoted a collection of short stories titled Love is Murder.
It was a fast read and entertaining.
I recommend it to readers who enjoy the suspense-romance genre.

Sex and the CitySex and the City by Candace Bushnell
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

This ebook was free when I downloaded it to my Nook library.
Connecting with the lifestyle these characters have is something I cannot do, and that makes my reaction to this book a judgmental one.
I do not recommend the book.

A Breath of Hope (Under Northern Skies Book #2)A Breath of Hope by Lauraine Snelling
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I bought this book as an Amazon Matchbook for my Kindle when I purchased the paperback edition for my father. He is 91-years-old, and he has read every one of Snelling's Bjorklund and Carlson family sagas. I have also read all of them.
These books are rich in the description of family-based lumber and farm businesses in this era.
I recommend these books for all readers.
