I purchased this book when I visited an exhibit at Indianapolis Museum of Art on July 28, 2012. I looked at the pictures in the book before, and now I take the time to read the text.

The artists included in this book and the exhibit were: Pierre Bonnard; George Hendrick Breitner; Maurice Denis; Henri Evenepoel; Henri Riviere; Felix Valloton; and Edouard Vuillard.

The text seemed directed to readers who have a greater academic knowledge about this subject of the Nabis brotherhood of these Post-Impressionist painters than this general interest reader.
