I'm a reader who enjoys posting comments and recommendations about the books I read. You will not find a synopsis with my recommendations because you can just click on the book title for a link to www.goodreads.com for a synopsis and reviews by other readers. I prefer the 3 Reason format: the reason I chose to read it; the reason I liked (or disliked) the book; and the reason I recommend it.

The Power of Writing It Down: A Simple Habit to Unlock Your Brain and Reimagine Your LifeThe Power of Writing It Down: A Simple Habit to Unlock Your Brain and Reimagine Your Life by Allison Fallon
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I finished this book by reading it in bits and pieces because I was not a fan of the author's anecdotal style. Some other readers may find it conversational.
My take-away from this book was the author's Infinity Prompt, which is five questions about Facts, Story, Feelings, Actions, and Results.

Mrs. Sherlock HolmesMrs. Sherlock Holmes by Brad Ricca
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is non-fiction of a historical woman, and it is told using tools of Creative Non-fiction to help readers understand the mood and timeline with other current events of 1917.
I find it sad to be reading this just when a trial is starting (2022) for a suspect on trial for the Delphi murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty "Libby" German which occurred on Feb 13, 2017.

A White Wind BlewA White Wind Blew by James Markert
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This ebook was downloaded to my Nook library when it was free from Barnes and Noble on Aug 9, 2013. I had been reading it an interval of a chapter since Sept 5, and I completed it during a bus ride.

I enjoyed the historical fiction set within some historical facts of the tuberculosis epidemic near Louisville, and the people affected by it. Empathsizing with these characters was easier after observing people affted by our most recent pandemic.

I recommend it to readers of historical fiction.

When Stars Are ScatteredWhen Stars Are Scattered by Victoria Jamieson

I borrowed this graphic novel from my grandson as it was recommended by his mother Lesley. The story is compelling and emotional.
I highly recommend it to all readers, even adults who may rarely read graphic novels.

I read it because I visited Ireland this year. I saw the Skelligs from a distance.
