This is a guide to help those of us who want to make a digital archive of our photos. I have been working on scanning the photos from the first 50 years of my life, and I had more than 138 albums in a chronological order to scan when I began this process.

I think I am ready to start using a high-speed scanner at my local library to help me speed up this process.
