I downloaded this book from Amazon's "Read the World" promotion in April 2025.
I enjoyed this historical narrative that was based on the life of the author's grandmother born in Korea, lived as a young adult in Japan, and returned to Korea during WWII.
I recommend it to all readers who enjoy historical fiction.
