Never Too LateNever Too Late by Amara Royce

I downloaded this book in 2014 to my Nook library when it was offered by Barnes and Noble.
I do not feel I can recommend it as I am not sure the author was clear about the themes of the story. Was it to be a throbbing romance; was it a historical fiction about how some tried to rescue women and children from intimidation and sex-trafficking; was it a justification for a romance with partners of different adult ages?
