This short story has been in my Kindle library since November 2024 when it was offered as a bonus for First Reads promotion. I admire the author's observations, and his style of writing. I recommend this short story to others.

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

This book was recommended to me by Emily. She may have read this for her book club.
Near the beginning this book has a scene that reminds me of the Bill Murray movie, St. Vincent;but, Ove and Vincent are not the same curmudgeon. I like the author's style as Backman tells an anecdote in a chapter that gives depth to the characters and Backman continues to build these layers into a narrative that holds the readers' attention.
I recommend this to all readers.
