Sometimes a book comes along just when I need it. I heard an interview with the author on a local public radio station and I immediately requested it from my local library.

This is not a comfortable book and it does not follow a common narrative plotline that shows a clear resolution. It is more character description of the frail elderly and some conflicts with well-meaning adult children who truly do not understand how we fail their expectations.
