I heard about this book when I listened to the podcast NCIS: Parteners and Probies interview with Mark Harmon.
This ebook was available on Hoopla through my local library.
I enjoyed the history told with a central character from a different viewpoint than what I had read before.

This book is another of the Time-Life series, The Civil War. It has been in my home library since 1987.
The text is a discussion of many battles I was previously unaware.
I recommend it to those who study the Civil War.
