The story begins with a Cinderella trope but none of her sisters are evil. In fact there are so many sisters who are introduced here. This introduction of so many sisters may clue the reader this story may be the first in a series of books.
It was entertaining.

I read this because it was Barnes and Noble's Serial Read in February. The reader unlocks a portion each day until the ebook is completed.
There was good action. It feels like an origin story for comic book heroes. I did not care enough to pay for more books in this series,
