Gap Creek was free when I downloaded it to my Nook.

A reader of romances might be tempted to select this book for its subtitle is "The Story of a Marriage," and that may disappoint for this book is more about tough times and persevering.

Instead of this book, I prefer to recommend books by author Jesse Stuart.
