I'm a reader who enjoys posting comments and recommendations about the books I read. You will not find a synopsis with my recommendations because you can just click on the book title for a link to www.goodreads.com for a synopsis and reviews by other readers. I prefer the 3 Reason format: the reason I chose to read it; the reason I liked (or disliked) the book; and the reason I recommend it.

A Tapestry of HopeA Tapestry of Hope by Tracie Peterson
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

This ebook was free when I downloaded it from Barnes and Noble to Nook library.
For readers of historical Christian fiction genre, this book will do. I was disappointed because the synopsis of the story was better written than the book. The characters are flat.
I recommend it only to fans of the authors.

Shadows of the Canyon (Desert Roses, #1)Shadows of the Canyon by Tracie Peterson
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

This book was free when I downloaded it from Barnes and Noble to my Nook library. I read several books by Peterson that were free at the time of download, and this was the first one I could not bear to read anymore of it. I could not take any more of the repetitive whining of Alex and her harsh judgements of her antagonists. I wanted this story about a Harvey girl who worked at El Tovar in the Grand Canyon to be better, and that is the only reason I read as far as I did.

A Daughter's InheritanceA Daughter's Inheritance by Tracie Peterson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This ebook was free from Barnes and Noble when I downloaded it to my Nook library. I chose it because I enjoy historical fiction with romance. I recently grouped all the free books in my library by Tracie Peterson, and these will be read this year.

This is the first book of The Broadmoor Legacy, and the authors (Judith Miller is the second author) did not intend for this to be a stand-alone because the book ends too aburptly for my taste. That is why it only gets 3 stars instead of 4.

I only recommend it to fans of other books by Tracie Peterson.

Land of My Heart (Heirs of Montana #1)Land of My Heart by Tracie Peterson
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

This ebook was free from Barnes and Noble when I downloaded it to my Nook library in 2013.
I enjoy historical fiction about the American West so a story about a girl who helps her family move from New Madrid, Missouri to Montana came with my high expectations. My rating dropped from 4 to 3 stars because the settings of time and place never felt real enough to help the characters overcome their flatness which confines them to following a storyline. The rating continued to drop when the Christian proselytizing became so heavy-handed in the final chapters.

A Lady of High RegardA Lady of High Regard by Tracie Peterson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This ebook was free when I downloaded it from Barnes and Noble to my Nook library. I enjoy historical romance and often chose Christian fiction because I prefer PG or PG-13.
This book was entertaining, but I found it to be too predictable and too familiar for me to give it four stars.
I recommend it to readers who enjoy historical romance.
