I'm a reader who enjoys posting comments and recommendations about the books I read. You will not find a synopsis with my recommendations because you can just click on the book title for a link to www.goodreads.com for a synopsis and reviews by other readers. I prefer the 3 Reason format: the reason I chose to read it; the reason I liked (or disliked) the book; and the reason I recommend it.

Cardinal CabinCardinal Cabin by Joanne DeMaio
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This ebook was the December 2019 Serial Reads from Barnes and Noble.
I read several books by DeMaio this year, and this was worth recommending to my friends who enjoy a romance with a location as an additional character.

The Beach InnThe Beach Inn by Joanne DeMaio
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the fifth book in the Seaside Saga series, and it is the last one available at my library. While it is an entertaining series, it is not one I want to pay full-price (any price) to read because I do not find it that different from other series in the genre of drama within a community of friends. I feel like a gossip when I read books in this genre.
I recommend it to fans of the series.

Beach BreezeBeach Breeze by Joanne DeMaio
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When I finished reading Barnes and Noble's Aug 2019 Serial Reads, Blue Jeans and Coffee Beans, I checked Goodreads to discover just how many books are in DeMaio's Seaside Saga and I checked my library to see which of those books my library had available. I had previously read #3 so my next read was this #4.
I like the characters DeMaio has created in this series. I find it intriguing to follow how each characters is reacting to the death of Sal even though they agree to a pact where they will wait a year before making any life-altering choices; but do they stick to that agreement?
This is entertaining and a chance to live vicariously through the strong emotions of fictional characters.

Blue Jeans and Coffee BeansBlue Jeans and Coffee Beans by Joanne DeMaio
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This ebook was the August 2019 Serial Reads selection from Barnes and Noble. I thought the characters sounded familiar, and I had previously read the third book from this series several years ago.
This first book in the series will lead the reader to the most recent 9th book in the series, Little Beach Bungalow.

Beach BluesBeach Blues by Joanne DeMaio
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I started reading because it is Barnes and Noble's Serial Read for July 2018. I never know how far I am into the book when I am given only a few chapters per day, so I mark it off in 3% increments until there are no more chapters remaining.
This ebook was entertaining. I recommend it to readers who like many well-developed characters in one of those"it takes a whole village to tell a story" because there will be more books and more stories to be told.
