About Me
- Dee Renee Chesnut
- I'm a reader who enjoys posting comments and recommendations about the books I read. You will not find a synopsis with my recommendations because you can just click on the book title for a link to www.goodreads.com for a synopsis and reviews by other readers. I prefer the 3 Reason format: the reason I chose to read it; the reason I liked (or disliked) the book; and the reason I recommend it.

Dial A for Aunties by Jesse Q. Sutanto
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I enjoyed this farce. I am hesitant to recommend it to some people who may think I am insensitive to a culture of which I do not belong. Yet I can say, well you do not know how annoying my family members are and yet will do what they can to protect me.

Across the Winding River by Aimie K. Runyan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This Kindle book has been in my Kindle library since July 5, 2020 when I downloaded it when it was free with Prime.
I do not like when Amazon immediately marks this selection in Goodreads as "Read" because I prefer to do it myself.
i enjoyed the book enough that I would recommend it to others.

I enjoy the early mysteries of Anna Pigeon because Barr has excellent descriptions of the National Parks where Anna is working at the time.

Ill Wind by Nevada Barr
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I like the books early in the Anna Pigeon series when she spends lots of time describing the National Park settings. I'm going to read the few that I missed.
