About Me
- Dee Renee Chesnut
- I'm a reader who enjoys posting comments and recommendations about the books I read. You will not find a synopsis with my recommendations because you can just click on the book title for a link to www.goodreads.com for a synopsis and reviews by other readers. I prefer the 3 Reason format: the reason I chose to read it; the reason I liked (or disliked) the book; and the reason I recommend it.

The How Not to Die Cookbook: 100+ Recipes to Help Prevent and Reverse Disease by Michael Greger
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I am intrigued by the idea of using water to stir-fry and saute. There are some recipes I will try after a visit to the grocery. I appreciate the pantry list and the 14-day menu to get me started.

Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I selected this book when it went on a friend's "want to read" list and I requested it from my local library.
The author does a good job of making recent research about personality, behavior, and neurological studies accessible to readers of a general background. It is like having a deep conversation with another friend.
I recommend it for all readers.
