About Me

My photo
I'm a reader who enjoys posting comments and recommendations about the books I read. You will not find a synopsis with my recommendations because you can just click on the book title for a link to www.goodreads.com for a synopsis and reviews by other readers. I prefer the 3 Reason format: the reason I chose to read it; the reason I liked (or disliked) the book; and the reason I recommend it.

West with GiraffesWest with Giraffes by Lynda Rutledge
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rutledge did a masterful job of storytelling with this book. It took me on an emotional journey as I could imagine the settings, the smells, and even the touch of the giraffes.

The Book Woman of Troublesome CreekThe Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book has been in my Kindle library since Nov 26, 2021.
The author evoked strong feelings about tough times in Kentucky in the late 1930s as told by a strong=willed woman named Cussy, aka Bluet.
I strongly recommend it to all readers.
