I enjoy cozy mysteries, but I was rolling my eyes when this heroine bakes wearing stiletto heels and goes shoe shopping when she is worried that she will not have enough money if her bakery might be closed for the time necessary for the crime labs to process samples for all her ingredients.

I downloaded this to my Kindle library September 2023 when it was a First Reads selection.
I was confused too often by the many characters. I had to go back to clarify who Edie was, who Maud was, and which girl was which. That confusion dropped the rating to two stars.

The Urban Sketching Handbook Color First, Ink Later: A Dynamic Approach to Drawing and Painting on Location (Volume 15) (Urban Sketching Handbooks, 15) by Mike Yoshiaki Daikubara (Goodreads Author) My rating 3 stars. Mike gives excellent explanations of the tools he uses and his techniques. I did not enjoy using this process because mine just looked sloppy, not dynamic.
