I'm a reader who enjoys posting comments and recommendations about the books I read. You will not find a synopsis with my recommendations because you can just click on the book title for a link to www.goodreads.com for a synopsis and reviews by other readers. I prefer the 3 Reason format: the reason I chose to read it; the reason I liked (or disliked) the book; and the reason I recommend it.

Aerial Tram and Wildlife Park, Royal Gorge, 27 Aug 2010

The next ride we wanted to do was the Aerial Tram because this was the world's longest single-span aerial tram. Its length is 2,200 feet and the height above the Arkansas River is 1,178 feet.
Once we were across we walked through the Rocky Mountain Elk area of the Wapiti Western Wildlife Park down to Point Sublime for more pictures of Royal Gorge.
The ranger at the park gave us good advice that morning to drive across the bridge, walk across the bridge to take the world's steepest incline railway and start the world's longest single span aerial tram from the visitor center. For then, the walk is downhill from Point Sublime through the Wildlife Park to our car.
There were several attractions we did not have time to do before the time arrived for our trip back to Colorado Springs airport and our flights home. We did not have time for the petting zoo, the burro rides, and the mule rides.
The one attraction we did not consider doing was the Royal Rush Skycoaster. Those riders were strapped into harnesses in a Superman position, pulled back to a height of about 100 ft. and then swung at a speed of up to 50 mph until they are 1,300 feet above the Arkansas River. There were adrenaline junkies paying the price to do it. We heard one guy scream from about a half-mile away!
