About Me

My photo
I'm a reader who enjoys posting comments and recommendations about the books I read. You will not find a synopsis with my recommendations because you can just click on the book title for a link to www.goodreads.com for a synopsis and reviews by other readers. I prefer the 3 Reason format: the reason I chose to read it; the reason I liked (or disliked) the book; and the reason I recommend it.

Moonwalking with Einstein: The Art and Science of Remembering EverythingMoonwalking with Einstein: The Art and Science of Remembering Everything by Joshua Foer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book belongs to the genre of participatory journalism for it is the story of Foer's year-long training to participate in the U.S. Memory Championship. He discusses some of the tools for his training such as Memory Palaces, Mind-Mapping with Tony Buzan, Major System, and PAO (Person, Action/Object.) The end of the book has sections for Acknowledgements, Notes, Bibliography, and an Index.
This is for general knowledge, and not a how-you-can-do it.
